Qualcomm is seeking a Product Test Development Automation Engineer to lead the validation and automation of next-generation ARM-based server hardware platforms. This role focuses on ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of Qualcomm's custom silicon and server solutions. The engineer will collaborate across hardware, firmware, and software teams to develop automated tests and tools. The position requires a combination of software development skills and hardware engineering expertise to effectively stress-test server components.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Several years of relevant hardware test/validation experience.
• 2+ years in system testing or validation in enterprise/server hardware.
• Strong understanding of computer architecture and system design.
• Familiarity with ARM Architecture versions and SoC designs.
• Experience with Linux system administration and shell scripting.

• Architect, design, develop, and automate comprehensive test plans for new ARM-based server products.
• Define feature test scenarios and execute developed test cases for various components.
• Direct integrated system tests that exercise hardware, firmware, and OS together.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable automated test suites and frameworks.
• Perform deep diagnostics and failure analysis across hardware and software boundaries.
• Conduct extended thermal cycling and high-load endurance tests.
• Act as a bridge between hardware design, software/firmware, and operations teams.
• Analyze test results data and track key quality metrics.
• Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, speed, and efficiency.
