The Associate Electrical Design Engineer will join the Infrastructure Design team to support projects in the Bay Area focused on the design, development, and execution of Cell and Energy Manufacturing and R&D facilities. This role involves working under the technical supervision of experienced engineers and requires a strong alignment with the company's mission. The engineer will be responsible for producing advanced design services and collaborating with various stakeholders to meet project needs. The position emphasizes creativity in resolving design issues and hands-on involvement in understanding fundamental problems.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• 1 year of experience in electrical distribution systems design up to 480VAC
• Competency in software tools such as Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, BIM 360, and Navisworks
• Expert Knowledge of REVIT MEP is required
• Solid understanding of the NFPA 70 (NEC) and 70E and their practical applications
• Ability to obtain PE or EIT certification and be registered in any State

• Provide advanced design services by preparing and maintaining construction drawings and engineering drawings
• Produce complex technical drawings including single line diagrams and layout drawings
• Develop simple to mid-level designs/layouts through fabrication level 3D models
• Prepare designs and bill of material estimates from general instruction
• Work with various stakeholders to understand end user needs and deliver results
• Prioritize and manage heavy workload on multiple projects to ensure high quality and productivity
• Resolve design issues creatively and thoroughly coordinate design with other disciplines
• Engage in hands-on work to understand fundamental problems
