The BIM Software Engineer will join a small team focused on building production applications, automation, and AI-powered tools for Revit and the BIM ecosystem. This role emphasizes understanding model structures and delivering reliable automation to enhance project workflows. The engineer will leverage modern software engineering practices along with the Revit API and AI technologies to create trustworthy tools for architects, engineers, and BIM specialists. A background in AEC or construction tech is advantageous for this position.

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience in shipping and maintaining production systems.
• Proficiency in C#, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript, with the ability to learn new languages as needed.
• Hands-on experience with the Revit API and BIM automation is a plus.
• Practical experience with LLMs and AI/ML applications in AEC problems is beneficial.
• Familiarity with data systems such as Postgres/MySQL and BIM concepts and tools.

• Design, build, and ship production applications and AI tools for BIM and design teams.
• Build and maintain Revit API integrations and add-ins for real project models.
• Develop a deep understanding of Revit workflows and identify authoritative data sources.
• Create LLM-powered agents to assist with BIM data querying and issue diagnosis.
• Design AI harnesses around models to ensure outputs are verifiable and safe.
• Evaluate AI behavior with structured evaluations to measure quality before deployment.
• Design data models and workflows connecting BIM data to various storage systems.
• Own work from requirements gathering to production deployment.
• Collaborate closely with architects and engineers to ensure tools address real problems.
