Meta is seeking a Data Center Electrical Engineer to join the Electrical Design Engineering team. This role focuses on power system engineering and stability for high-power density compute platforms in large-scale data centers. The engineer will leverage technical expertise in electrical modeling and troubleshooting to ensure reliability and efficiency in data center operations. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improve infrastructure performance.

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Systems Design or a related technical field
• 7+ years of experience in electrical or power system engineering, including design, modeling, or validation testing for critical infrastructure
• Experience within hyperscale data centers or similar critical infrastructure environments
• Expertise in advanced modeling techniques for complex data center hardware designs
• Experience leading electrical component deployment, testing, and failure analysis

• Hold comprehensive technical ownership for the power system engineering of next-generation, high-power compute platforms
• Drive extensive system investigations into power and electrical stability across multiple generations of high-power rack systems
• Lead the production of critical safety and design deliverables for high-voltage Direct Current distribution systems
• Utilize electrical modeling and simulation tools to analyze power distribution components
• Perform complex system-level modeling to mitigate design and deployment risks
• Lead advanced electrical troubleshooting efforts for live data center infrastructure
• Participate in studies regarding the impact of next-generation AI workload power characteristics
• Provide subject matter expertise and technical guidance on HVDC distribution technology
