Job description

The Risk and Insurance Analyst at Tesla will be part of the Global Risk Management and Insurance Team, focusing on corporate insurance and risk management for the company's operations. This role involves analyzing insurance coverage, reviewing contracts, and ensuring compliance while providing excellent customer service. The analyst will work closely with legal and procurement teams, particularly in the Texas construction sector. The position requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in corporate risk management, insurance, or an insurance broker environment.
  • Expert knowledge of Workers Compensation, OCIP/CCIP insurance programs, commercial insurance, and insurance contract language.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to influence and communicate effectively with insurance and non-insurance professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize workload while meeting required goals and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret global insurance policies to assist Tesla business operations and partner with legal and procurement in contract review and negotiation.
  • Process, manage, and track certificates of insurance with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in tracking, documenting, and reporting vehicle and driver information to relevant stakeholders.
  • Aid in insurance-related subjectivities, vendor onboarding, and invoice processing.
  • Perform other duties as developed and assigned.
