The Applications Engineer will be part of the Supercharging team, which manages and expands Tesla's electric vehicle charging network. This role focuses on driving solutions to technical challenges related to Charging Deployment. The individual will act as a key liaison between the Charging Deployment division and the Engineering Development organization. Collaboration with Product Management and Hardware Sales teams will also be essential to ensure successful product launches.

• Degree in Engineering in Electrical, Mechanical, or Energy Systems, or equivalent experience
• 3 – 5 years’ experience in an engineering or technical program management role, or equivalent
• Experience in renewable energy technologies such as EVs, batteries, or solar is preferred
• Experience with networking, smart-grid protocols, and controls is preferred
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Collaborative and team-oriented with proficiency in leading cross-functional projects
• Fast-moving executor with a strong desire to learn and improve

• Organize, triage, and develop strategies for solving technical challenges in Charging Deployment
• Develop and drive solutions that reduce costs and increase deployment speed
• Investigate and report technical product requirements to Product Management and Product Engineering teams
• Act as the lead technical resource to ensure smooth product and feature launches
