Job description
The Supply Chain Analytics team at Tesla is looking for a Data Analyst to support the Interior and Seating supply chain organization. This role involves becoming the analytics partner for the Cabin team, utilizing large datasets to deliver insights and dashboards. The ideal candidate will have a strong business focus and excellent communication skills, working closely with stakeholders at all levels. The position requires a proactive mindset and a passion for data analytics to drive automation and improve processes.
Requirements
- Degree in Data Analytics or equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional ability
- 4-6 years of experience in Data Analytics, focusing on building dashboards, automating processes, and providing actionable insights in complex environments
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and data manipulation, and experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and metrics
- Experience in automating manual processes and developing key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Serve as the dedicated analytics partner for the Interior and Seating supply chain organization
- Design and maintain core analytics tools and dashboards tailored to Cabin-specific needs
- Drive automation initiatives to eliminate manual efforts and streamline reporting processes
- Collaborate with Cabin SCMs, SIEs, and cross-functional teams to align analytics solutions with business goals
- Proactively identify opportunities to optimize processes and ensure compliance through data-driven approaches
- Monitor and enhance existing analytics workflows to improve scalability, accuracy, and stakeholder satisfaction
