The Technical Support Tier 2 team at Tesla focuses on providing exceptional support for Commercial Charging products. This role involves troubleshooting complex hardware and operational issues while collaborating with global technical teams. The position is available in multiple locations including San Jose, Fremont, Austin, Buffalo, and Henderson. Candidates will utilize their technical expertise to enhance customer experience and contribute to service improvements.

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical or science field, or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science.
• Understanding of basic electrical theory with experience in AC/DC power systems or electronic systems.
• Experience with CRM systems, mobile case/ticketing systems, and bug-tracking systems.
• Flexible availability to work any shift including days, weekends, and holidays.
• Proven ability to adapt in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
• Excellent judgment in solving critical problems and making independent decisions.

• Retrieve and review remote system logs to troubleshoot complex hardware and operational issues.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to commercial Field Service Technicians.
• Respond to alerts in a highly time-sensitive manner to enhance customer experience.
• Manage group and personal queues of service tickets pending action.
• Collaborate with global technical teams to find solutions for inquiries.
• Utilize Linux to establish SSH connections with proprietary systems.
• Contribute feedback for improvements in Tesla’s service and monitoring platforms.
