The role involves supporting the commissioning engineer throughout the project life cycle, ensuring that electrical systems function according to design intent and operational requirements. Requirements
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management.
- Completion of electrician apprenticeship program is required.
- Knowledge in Lock-out-tag-out and isolating electrical hazards is necessary.
- Working knowledge of electrical systems up to 480VAC is essential.
- Ability to read and comprehend wiring diagrams, schematics, and single line diagrams is required.
- Must be able to work in high elevations up to 80 ft and lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly.
Responsibilities
- Support the commissioning engineer throughout the project life cycle.
- Lead new installation inspections prior to equipment start-up.
- Produce as-built drawings markups for delivery to the design team.
- Install, terminate, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment and components.
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and components.
- Prepare sketches showing the location of wiring and equipment.
