Job description
Meta is seeking highly skilled Design Engineers to contribute to the development of advanced technology solutions, focusing on machine learning and network acceleration. The role involves collaboration with researchers and engineers to design, implement, and optimize low-power hardware accelerators and custom silicon solutions. The team aims to enable the next generation of innovative devices and hardware. Successful candidates will engage in various aspects of digital design and architecture.
Requirements
- Experience in digital design microarchitecture, RTL coding, and microarchitecture development.
- Experience communicating technical design decisions and trade-offs to cross-functional partners.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to ASIC digital microarchitecture and design.
- Assist in performance and power analysis of the design to meet targets.
- Work with architects to map algorithms onto hardware and specify requirements for IP and subsystems integration.
- Collaborate with adjacent teams such as Verification, Physical Design, and Design-for-Test.
- Develop microarchitecture, RTL coding, and design verification for complex IPs.
- Drive IP/sub-system microarchitecture and RTL design in collaboration with DV and PD leads.
