Job description
As a Project Manager on the Corporate FP&A Data Analytics team at Apple, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that engineering execution aligns with business priorities. Requirements
- 7+ years in technical project or program management, or a delivery-focused role on a software or data engineering team.
- BS or MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Agile delivery methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Experience tracking delivery in systems like Radar or Jira.
- Familiarity with HANA, SQL-based development, or similar enterprise data platforms.
- Experience using generative AI for project management tasks.
- Domain experience in corporate finance, FP&A, BI, or financial reporting environments.
Responsibilities
- Own delivery timelines and ensure alignment on project shipping schedules.
- Manage capacity planning and risk management for the team.
- Coordinate cross-functional dependencies and handle escalations.
- Build status reports or dashboards for leadership to track delivery and risk.
- Ensure timely delivery of analysis and reporting tools for FP&A and Investor Relations.
- Maintain documentation and tracking in tools like Jira, Confluence, or Quip.
- Juggle multiple concurrent work streams and adapt to shifting priorities.
