JobsIntel Foundry LTD Yield Development Engineer
Job description
As a Yield Development Engineer at Intel, you will play a crucial role in advancing semiconductor process technologies within the Logic Technology Development organization. Your work will focus on identifying yield limiters and implementing solutions to enhance manufacturability and yield across various technology nodes. This position requires collaboration with design teams and the execution of new product introductions to ensure high-quality outcomes. You will leverage advanced statistics and machine learning to drive insights and improvements in production processes.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in semiconductor science-related STEM degree in engineering, physical science, computer science, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in advanced semiconductor devices and process flow.
- 2+ years of experience with data analysis systems and software tools.
- 2+ years of experience in yield projection with EOL signals and in line parameters.
- Project/program management experience with strong self-initiative and self-learning capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze diverse big data sources for defect mode understanding and yield modeling.
- Perform statistical analysis, create visualizations, and construct process development roadmaps that drive technology yield milestones.
- Extract insights from structured and unstructured data using advanced statistics, machine learning, and coding techniques.
- Organize, interpret, and structure insights from fab process, defect, and electrical data while identifying anomalies to drive process changes for yield enhancement.
- Collaborate with design teams to resolve yield issues, ensuring manufacturability across process and product specifications before ramping production.
- Execute new product introductions, enable design-technology co-optimization, and participate in design of experiments with factory task forces.
- Develop measurement recipes for rapid feedback on product integrity and address issues impacting yield or product quality.
- Create and harden systems capable of meeting operational needs for leading-edge logic nodes, working with equipment vendors and internal collaborators.
- Develop AI/ML applications and computational tools to bridge the gap between design and manufacturing, improve design efficiency, and reduce debug time.
- Document technical procedures, train colleagues, and debug equipment, software, and procedural failures in production environments when required.
Benefits
- Intel offers a comprehensive benefits package including competitive pay, stock programs, healthcare coverage, retirement plans, paid time off, parental leave, and programs supporting employee wellbeing and professional development.
