Job description
The Facilities Chemical/Gas Systems Engineer at Intel plays a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of factory support equipment infrastructure. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field with 1+ year of hands-on experience in chemical/gas systems or a Master's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Knowledge of chemical compatibility, high-purity gases, and process control statistical analysis.
- Familiarity with materials of construction for chemical and gas systems infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering expertise for factory support equipment to ensure operational reliability and compliance with semiconductor requirements.
- Manage system troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and capacity planning to meet operational demands.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, and commissioning for factory support equipment installations and upgrades.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to deliver cost-effective solutions that meet design criteria.
- Support construction and operations teams through effective coordination and field oversight.
- Create and maintain documentation, including installation procedures, commissioning checklists, and sequence of operations.
