As an Amazon Critical Infrastructure Engineer, you will provide full life-cycle support to AWS Data Centers, focusing on design, maintenance, and operational excellence. You will collaborate with diverse teams to troubleshoot issues, develop innovative solutions, and lead engineering audits. This role requires strong engineering judgment and the ability to manage projects effectively while ensuring safety and reliability in services delivered. You will work on both local and global projects, contributing to the expansion of AWS's infrastructure.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Valid and active driver's license
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations for your region
• Knowledge of commercial or industrial power systems or mechanical systems
• Experience carrying design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment or mass production
• Experience using a variety of web-based and other software tools for calculation and data processing
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and controls systems for critical infrastructures

• Troubleshoot, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and create Corrective Action (CA) documentation for site/equipment failures.
• Directly support operational issues with ad-hoc training and complex operating procedure reviews.
• Own the conceptual design for existing data center upgrades and design solutions.
• Interface with internal teams to promote standards that maintain consistency and reliability.
• Develop innovative solutions for AWS's data centers.
• Initiate and lead engineering audits including on-site visits within Amazon's data centers.
• Act as resident engineer during new construction projects and support construction, commissioning, and turnover.
