Job description

At NVIDIA, the FlashDreams team focuses on developing interactive world models for various applications such as autonomous vehicles and gaming. This role combines research and systems engineering to create reliable, high-performance systems. The team collaborates with various departments to integrate capabilities and shape technical direction. Candidates passionate about moving innovative technologies from research to real-world applications are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
  • Experience in one or more relevant areas such as world models, generative video, or robotics.
  • Experience building and optimizing GPU-accelerated software with CUDA and modern ML frameworks like PyTorch.
  • Demonstrated engineering judgment and a record of turning complex prototypes into reliable products.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and improve production-quality systems for world models and real-time inference.
  • Connect generated worlds and evaluation loops into cohesive end-to-end systems while enhancing performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with research and engineering teams to make technical tradeoffs and integrate capabilities into workflows.
  • Own complex modules or cross-team projects that influence technical direction and roadmaps.

Benefits

  • Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
