Job description

The Fiduciary Consulting Group's research team at Morgan Stanley is focused on investment policy and research to support institutional clients. This position involves ongoing investment due diligence, analysis, and reporting, as well as client-facing coordination and project management. The role requires collaboration with the Wealth Management Global Investment Office and aims to drive scalable AI deployment in investment research. Candidates will engage with a variety of institutional investors, including corporations and non-profit organizations.

Requirements

  • An undergraduate degree is required.
  • Approximately 4-7 years of previous experience in a similar role within the investment research or consulting industry is necessary.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Experience working directly with clients and producing client-facing research or investment deliverables is required.
  • Experience with Bloomberg, eVestment, and/or Morningstar Direct is preferred.
  • Experience with AI and AI-related integrations is desired.
  • A desire to progress toward the CFA designation is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing investment due diligence, analysis, and reporting to institutional clients.
  • Conduct investment manager due diligence and selection.
  • Perform asset class research and portfolio construction.
  • Engage in asset/liability modeling.
  • Drive scalable AI deployment and adoption in investment research.
  • Conduct macroeconomic and industry research.
  • Manage client-facing responsibilities and client project development.
  • Assist with RFP responses and related activities.
