Job description
The Industrial Water/Wastewater Engineer will join Jacobs' National Industrial Water Team, focusing on delivering planning, design, and construction projects for industrial water clients. This role involves working on both municipal and industrial water projects, providing opportunities for personal and professional growth. The engineer will lead technical innovation and quality solutions while collaborating with a team of local and global technologists. The position offers flexibility with teleworking options.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in civil, chemical, environmental, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer license (PE or EIT).
- At least 5 years of consulting experience with industrial water and wastewater clients.
- Experience delivering industrial and municipal planning and design projects.
- Demonstrated understanding of process mechanical designs and water and wastewater unit processes.
Responsibilities
- Support the growing industrial water practice by delivering planning, design, and construction projects.
- Serve as a process engineer, discipline lead, or task lead for small to large projects.
- Lead technical innovation and develop quality solutions for clients.
- Evaluate technical alternatives and prepare technical reports.
- Mentor junior engineers and participate in professional society organizations.
