The role involves independently planning and executing responsibilities related to the architecting, designing, implementing, verifying, and optimizing GPU cores. The individual will work on building functional modeling simulations and developing software, tools, and tests for various graphics workloads. Additionally, the position requires running benchmarks for different applications and performing pre- and post-silicon verification to ensure performance and power goals are met. This position is part of the GPU ASICS Engineering team at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc.

• A Master's Degree or foreign academic equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related degree field.
• Strong understanding of GPU architecture and performance optimization.

• Plan and perform the architecting and designing of GPU cores.
• Implement and verify performance and power optimizations.
• Build functional modeling simulations and develop software tools.
• Run benchmarks for various applications and perform verification.
• Act as a strong contributor in design reviews and project meetings.
