The Roadway Project Engineer/Task Manager role at Jacobs involves leading the planning, design, and delivery of transportation infrastructure projects for WisDOT and local agencies in Wisconsin. • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Wisconsin, or ability to obtain through reciprocity
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in roadway design, highway design, transportation engineering, or civil transportation projects
• Experience delivering WisDOT transportation projects and working with Wisconsin design standards and specifications
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, with experience in MicroStation platforms being a plus

• Support the design and delivery of roadway and highway improvement projects for WisDOT.
• Prepare and oversee the development of plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E), design calculations, technical reports, quantities, and cost estimates.
• Utilize Bentley OpenRoads Designer (ORD), MicroStation, and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop roadway geometry and construction plans.
• Serve as a task manager for transportation design projects, supporting scope, schedule, budget, deliverables, and client coordination.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including traffic, drainage, structures, environmental, utilities, and construction professionals.
