• Bachelor's degree or above in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in C through coursework, projects, or internship experience.
• Familiarity with systems programming concepts including memory management and performance optimization.
• Experience with source control systems like Git, code reviews, and build processes.
• Contributions to open source projects such as Libfabric or Open MPI.
• Coursework or experience in computer networking, including protocols and latency optimization.
• Experience writing performance-critical code with a focus on minimizing instruction count and occupancy.
• Familiarity with High-Performance Computing or Machine Learning infrastructure concepts.
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including testing and operations.

• Write the highest-performing code in C for multiple open source projects supporting EFA.
• Work with multiple teams to invent new APIs for advanced networking concepts in the cloud.
• Analyze customer needs to develop innovative solutions for software stack occupancy.
• Create comprehensive tests to drive the development of new features and prevent regressions.
• Collaborate with the ML Infrastructure team to ensure product performance on large machine clusters.
