Job description

The Datacenter Product Engineer at NVIDIA will focus on launching new systems for the HGX GPU Accelerated Server Platforms, which are crucial for Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Analytics. This role involves collaborating with various engineering groups to optimize production processes and ensure high-quality GPU boards for datacenter architectures. The engineer will leverage their expertise in system architectures and GPU technology to drive product development and achieve cost and quality metrics. This position is based in Dallas, Texas.

Requirements

  • BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of meaningful industry experience.
  • Strong fundamentals in electrical engineering, including digital design, signal integrity, and computer architecture.
  • Knowledge of statistics, timing analysis, fault analysis, and sampling.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and develop new diagnostic tests and debug procedures for next generation products.
  • Debug complex interactions between hardware, firmware, and software on faulty boards.
  • Recommend and ensure compliance with DFx requirements for signal integrity performance.
  • Develop and deliver test specifications for system level manufacturing screens for new products.
  • Collaborate with contract manufacturers to define product assembly lines and optimize for cost and efficiency.
  • Analyze volume data and conduct lab experiments to solve yield and test problems.
  • Lead optimization efforts on production screen specification processes to minimize waste.
