This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams including design and engineering to ensure product reliability. The engineer will analyze data and failures to drive corrective actions and improve product quality. This position is critical as NVIDIA continues to innovate at the intersection of visual processing and high-performance computing.

Requirements

  • Strong technical background in wafer fab with advanced process node and packaging technologies.
  • Knowledge of CMOS/Fin FET device physics and familiarity with reliability statistics and failure mechanisms.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as JEDEC, IPC, and AEC-Q100 for qualification.
  • Proficiency in reliability data analysis tools such as JMP, Weibull++, and Minitab.
  • 8+ years of experience in IC reliability.
  • BS or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience; MS or PhD in EE is preferable.

Responsibilities

  • Develop product level reliability qualification plans and implement qualifications for new NVIDIA products.
  • Collaborate with design, customer engineering, product/test engineering, and packaging engineering teams.
  • Work with DFT and product engineering teams for qualification test programs and data analysis.
  • Investigate and analyze data and failures to develop failure models and drive corrective actions.
  • Participate in assessing reliability test requirements for non-conforming materials and maintain reliability databases.
  • Communicate clearly and produce product reliability qualification reports and presentations.

Benefits

  • Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts.
