The engineer will leverage their expertise in embedded systems and power processing to drive innovations that improve user experiences. • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of work experience in development, testing, and deployment of consumer electronics or embedded systems.
• 3 years of experience in technical leadership.
• Experience in embedded systems, operating systems, and power processing.

• Drive power optimizations on mobile phone SOCs.
• Provide inputs to architecture teams on new SOC features and initiatives to improve power.
• Analyze and optimize the software across key components of the SOC like CPU, GPU, memory subsystem, and connectivity.
• Develop tools and tests for validating and monitoring power consumption.
• Debug and resolve battery drain issues.
• Collaborate with Android and app teams across Google to help them optimize power.
