Job description
The role is focused on providing hands-on experience with Darkfield optical inspection systems within KLA's LS-SWIFT Division, which specializes in patterned wafer inspection systems for semiconductor manufacturing. The team is dedicated to delivering market-leading defect detection solutions for various applications in the semiconductor industry. Candidates will work alongside experts in the field, utilizing data science for analysis and visualization of large data sets. Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Darkfield optical inspection systems is required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in data science for analysis and visualization of massive data sets is necessary.
- Familiarity with Python scripting and exposure to basic machine learning or deep learning concepts for AI-driven applications is expected.
- A background in IC processing or semiconductor equipment is highly desirable.
- Strong technical and analytical skills are essential.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills are required.
- Candidates must be creative, self-motivated, and collaborative.
- Willingness to travel 50% of the time is necessary.
- A Master's Level Degree with 3 years of related work experience or a Bachelor's Level Degree with 5 years of related work experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Utilize Darkfield optical inspection systems to enhance semiconductor manufacturing processes.
- Analyze and visualize large data sets to support defect detection and process improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions for semiconductor inspection.
- Engage in continuous learning and application of machine learning techniques to improve inspection systems.
- Travel as needed to support customer needs and product implementation.
