Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering principles is required.
- Experience in developing, writing, and debugging code for embedded processors is preferred.
- Hands-on lab experience debugging microcontroller assemblies is necessary.
- A Doctorate, Master's, or Bachelor's degree with relevant work experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Define requirements and specifications for firmware design implementation.
- Participate in design reviews and program lifecycle analysis.
- Work interactively with electrical engineers to select a microcontroller.
- Simulate firmware and validate firmware implementation on Printed Circuit Board Assembly.
- Document firmware for release to production.
- Collaborate with systems and software engineers to test and implement firmware updates.
- Mentor and coach developing engineers.
- Implement Motion Control code for high precision motion applications.
