Job description

KLA is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their engineering team focused on designing and developing integrated power systems for advanced semiconductor manufacturing tools. The role involves collaboration with electrical and mechanical engineers to create innovative electrical subsystems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AC power delivery and system integration, contributing to the full design lifecycle. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex challenges in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum two years' experience in electrical system integration
  • Strong background in AC power delivery, electro-mechanical systems, and communication systems
  • Experience with system-level integration and validation
  • Ability to lead projects and mentor junior engineers
  • Ability to travel up to 20% (domestic and international)
  • Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of electrical parts, modules, and subsystems for integrated measurement systems.
  • Drive the full design lifecycle from requirement specification to scheduling.
  • Perform detailed analysis including circuit, timing, thermal/cooling, and electrical load balancing calculations.
  • Program PLCs and integrate control and safety-interlock systems.
  • Create conceptual and detailed designs using tools like AutoCAD and CREO.
  • Lead design reviews and collaborate across subject areas.
  • Procure prototype parts, conduct testing, and support system integration.
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure design requirements are met.
