This role involves working with AWS Infrastructure Services to design, plan, and operate global data centers. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of industrial or commercial engineering experience in mission critical facilities
  • Professional Engineer License
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred
  • Experience with building codes and regulations for your region

Responsibilities

  • Conduct site assessments against AWS standards for colocation data centers
  • Review vendor critical infrastructure designs and perform risk analysis
  • Troubleshoot and create Corrective Action documentation for site failures
  • Support operational issues with training and procedure reviews
  • Own the design for existing data center upgrades and solutions
