Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional software and systems development experience
  • 3+ years experience in system safety engineering in the aerospace, automotive, or robotics industries
  • Experience in analysis and design of safety critical systems
  • Experience working with requirements management and safety analysis tools such as CAFTA and Medini
  • Demonstrated statistical analysis and reliability engineering fundamentals
  • Knowledgeable in systems engineering fundamentals, including system decomposition and requirements verification

Responsibilities

  • Own the completion of system safety analyses and derive design safety requirements for Prime Air systems
  • Help define the future of safety assessment processes and methodologies for drone aerial delivery systems
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate design safety directly into the system development process
