The Wireless Control Systems Engineer will join Apple's cellular systems engineering team to define and build the next generation of cellular technology, focusing on 6G advancements. This role involves overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of cellular modem systems, from feature design to silicon bring-up and productization. The engineer will collaborate with various teams to ensure system requirements are met and will leverage deep technical expertise in communication systems. • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant industry experience in Layer 1 control design.
• Strong knowledge of cellular communication standards: 6G, 5G NR, and 4G LTE.
• Deep expertise in communication system theory and signal processing.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, C/C++, and/or Python for algorithm development.
• Experience leveraging Generative AI and LLM-based tools.
• Experience in low-power algorithm design for mobile platforms.
• Strong mathematical foundations in linear algebra and detection theory.

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of cellular modem systems.
