Job description
In this highly visible role, you will lead the development of CPU and SoC power management software for Apple's new product platforms. You will work closely with hardware and system teams to optimize power management features from pre-silicon to commercial release. The position requires prototyping novel power management schemes and influencing future chip designs. Your work will significantly impact CPU/SoC micro-architecture and driver design, aiming for aggressive battery life targets.
Requirements
- Expertise in embedded software development using C or C++
- Expertise in writing and debugging complex OS device and kernel drivers
- Experience in embedded SOC architectures and hardware/software dependencies
- Experience in new platform or silicon bring-up
- Experience in SOC and/or System Power Management
- Demonstrated innovative, critical thinking and debugging skills
- Highly professional with the ability to deliver work on tight schedules
- Excellent collaborative skills
- Extraordinary written and verbal communication
