Job description

The Analyst role at Goldman Sachs Family Office (GSFO) involves working closely with Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs) to deliver Lifestyle Services to clients and support business development initiatives. The position focuses on building strong client relationships and enhancing the overall service offering of the GS Family Office. The ideal candidate will have a background in wealth management or family office services and will be responsible for identifying opportunities and driving best practices. This role requires a client-friendly individual who can collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of relevant industry experience in a client-facing role, preferably in family office or wealth management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees.
  • Understanding of financial and performance reporting within wealth management.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and logical thinking.
  • Commitment to excellence and high integrity.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think clearly under pressure.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 & Series 63 exams must be obtained within the first 3 months of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for Lifestyle Services across PWA teams, clients, and third-party partners.
  • Identify opportunities, drive best practices, and ensure the highest quality of services.
  • Become a subject matter expert for multiple service offerings including security, recruitment, and medical advisory.
  • Support special projects and business development initiatives with Family Office senior leadership.
  • Partner with PWM teams to manage the client lifecycle throughout their relationship with vendors.
  • Facilitate client introductions with PWA teams and third-party service providers.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Help clients understand the benefits and considerations of each service.
  • Support the team in identifying and developing third-party partnerships.
  • Responsible for new service offering launches and ongoing management.
