As a Senior Structural Engineer at Jacobs, you will be part of the Advanced Manufacturing team focusing on Data Center projects. This role involves working on new builds, retrofits, and colocations, while enhancing your expertise in structural engineering. You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and designers, contributing to various capital projects. • Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 8 or more years of professional experience in structural engineering
• Registered Professional Engineer with the ability to become registered in additional states
• Knowledge of CAD software, such as AutoCad, Revit, MicroStation and S3D
• Proficiency with structural analysis software such as RISA or STAAD
• Knowledge and application of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, AIST Technical Report 13, and other industry relevant design codes and standards
• Proficiency with MS Office suite software including MS Teams for remote coordination
• Ability for travel to various client’s sites (approx. 10% to 20% travel)

• Perform various aspects of structural engineering assignments to increase familiarity with design methods and tools.
• Create computer models for structures and perform calculations for member designs and foundations.
• Prepare material take-offs for estimating and assist with project schedules.
• Liaise with internal professionals and design departments for project delivery.
• Coordinate designs with other Jacobs offices both domestically and internationally.
