As a System Performance Engineer at Qualcomm, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and validating the performance of Qualcomm Snapdragon Chipsets across various business units. You will collaborate with software, hardware, and architecture teams to enhance power, performance, and thermal behavior. This position involves leading junior engineers and leveraging your advanced systems knowledge to ensure product requirements are met. The role also includes defining performance analysis plans and preparing reports for senior executives.

• Master’s degree in Computer Engineering
• 10+ years of practical post-silicon experience in power and performance analysis of complex SoCs
• 3+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership
• Strong programming and scripting skills in Python and C/C++
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of state-of-the-art workloads including AI and LLM
• Understanding of memory hierarchy and system interconnects
• Understanding of ARM SoC concepts and architecture specifications
• Experience with Vulkan, OpenGL, DX12, or CUDA
• Knowledge of industry power and performance benchmarks

• Enable, profile, and analyze complex concurrent system use-cases in emulation and software environments
• Define and document performance and power analysis plans for system use-cases across multiple workloads
• Identify areas of performance optimization in the SoC for both software and hardware architectures
• Direct triage of complex performance issues to determine root-cause and present results to stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement optimal power, performance, and thermal solutions
• Provide technical leadership, mentor, and guide engineers to execute multiple programs successfully
• Prepare clear and concise reports and recommendations for product teams to drive business decisions
• Define and develop automation for the team to operate more efficiently
