This role is for a high-impact engineer focused on designing world-class fulfillment centers and logistics systems globally. The engineer will collaborate with internal and external teams to create cost-effective solutions for fulfillment and distribution systems. They will manage multiple projects from concept through design approval and serve as the primary technical contact for suppliers. The position involves working on a variety of projects, including green-fields and retrofits, in a fast-paced environment.

• 5+ years of design and innovation, research and development work experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a foreign equivalent
• Experience with design and innovation and research and development
• Experience in management of engineering design projects
• Experience using business or technical software like MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software
• 5+ years of specialty experience with progressive responsibility
• Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field
• Knowledge of system architecture, optimization, system dynamics, system analysis, statistical analysis, reliability analysis, electronic system design, and decision making
• Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and high-speed manufacturing
• Experience with design-in-safety

• Collaborate with internal and external teams to design high-quality, cost-effective solutions for fulfillment and distribution systems.
• Own multiple projects simultaneously from concept realization through design approval.
• Serve as the primary point of technical contact for suppliers on projects.
• Hand off completed designs to the Ops Engineering team for installation and commissioning.
• Support the Ops Engineering team to ensure successful installation, commissioning, and launch of designed systems.
• Work on a variety of projects including green-fields, brown-fields, and retrofits.
