The Data Center Construction Project Manager will be part of the Global Design and Construction team at Apple, responsible for delivering critical data center construction projects. This role involves close collaboration with various teams to manage innovative and energy-efficient data center developments. The position requires strong planning and communication skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously, including equipment upgrades and new construction efforts. The focus is on ensuring successful project execution while maintaining high standards of safety and sustainability.

• 8+ years of demonstrated ability as a data center construction project manager.
• Experience leading and supporting architects, engineers, and specialty consultants from initial programming to construction completion.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent job-related experience.
• Background experience in data center, commercial, or industrial construction including MEP systems.
• Skilled in reading design and construction drawings for all fields.
• Experience with utility infrastructure and coordination of local utilities to site.
• Ability to lead General Contractors including competitive bidding and negotiation.
• Experience in reviewing contracts and terms as it pertains to costing and deliverables.
• Experience with reviewing proposals and change order requests from consultants and contractors.

• Handle all aspects of development for innovative and energy-efficient data centers.
• Coordinate closely with project partners from various teams including Real Estate, Legal, and Operations.
• Lead multiple projects including equipment upgrades within live data center environments.
• Provide useful input on design and constructability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Establish and maintain close working relationships with management, colleagues, and external partners.
• Prepare and present comparative cost analysis for proposals and change orders.
• Oversee commissioning agents and review sequence of operations and test scripts.
