The role is for a software engineer within the AWS Applied AI Solutions organization, focusing on designing, building, and operating large-scale services used by millions of customers. The WorkSpaces Applications team is rapidly growing and aims to deliver innovative SaaS application streaming and virtual desktop solutions. Engineers will work with AWS technologies to solve complex problems related to secure and scalable solutions. The team values high-quality work, collaboration, and customer obsession.

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience

• Design, develop, deliver and operate secure, reliable and scalable solutions for customer features and internal operational improvements.
• Maintain high standards by delivering high quality in your own work and push for a high bar in code, design and document reviews.
• Work across team boundaries to help deliver on team projects by showing ownership and delivering results.
• Develop a deep understanding of the system and overall service, understanding core customer usage patterns and workflows.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders to drive ticket and issue resolution as part of the team's on-call rotation.
