The Software Development Engineer at Annapurna Labs will help architect, build, and operate infrastructure that accelerates silicon development. This role involves working closely with chip design teams to enhance their workflows through automation and tooling. The engineer will be part of a collaborative team focused on high-performance computing and cloud infrastructure. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative silicon solutions while working with top engineers in the field.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems
- Experience programming with at least one modern programming language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby
- 3+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, and operating systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with Linux/Unix
- Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
- Experience building services using AWS products
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code
- Familiarity with semiconductor development workflows or electronic design automation environments
Responsibilities
- Partner with silicon design, verification, emulation, and software teams to understand their development workflows and pain points.
- Build tooling and automation that eliminates manual toil and reduces time-to-results.
- Design, implement, and operate cloud infrastructure and high-performance computing clusters using schedulers like Slurm.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure-as-code and service deployments.
- Develop monitoring, diagnostics, and alerting systems that provide actionable insights.
- Establish incident response processes and documentation to enable operational excellence.
- Proactively anticipate system failures and implement preventive measures.
