Job description
As a Test Engineer focused on MicroLED Display Manufacturing at Google, you will be responsible for the qualification, deployment, and ongoing support of microLED and display panel test systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate new testing capabilities and provide critical data for both engineering and production. The role involves optimizing test time, extending capabilities, and reducing costs for production test plans. This position is part of Raxium, which aims to disrupt next-generation display markets with innovative semiconductor materials technology.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a specialized field.
- 4 years of experience in optoelectronics test, display metrology, or semiconductor manufacturing environment.
- 4 years of experience deploying, validating, and debugging semiconductor hardware test systems.
- 4 years of experience writing and debugging test system software.
- Experience scripting in SQL or Python.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Test Development team to lead production-scale release of new high-speed optical and electrical test systems.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design and implement automated pipelines for Gauge R&R, software deployment, and test operations.
- Define and execute the strategy for scaling test capacity to off-shore Contract Manufacturers.
- Oversee deployment of test capacity and establish protocols for remote fleet management.
- Serve as technical lead for rapid-response production support and troubleshooting complex yield limiters.
