The role is part of the Transaction Banking (TxB) global first line of defense risk team, focusing on financial crime and compliance-related risks. The individual will support TxB's risk management program by providing advisory support on client selection, risk assessment, and governance matters. This position requires assessing complex client financial crime risk profiles and translating findings into actionable recommendations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and demonstrate strong communication and analytical skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree plus 2+ years of professional experience in applying financial crime risk judgement in an advisory or compliance role.
- Ability to create professional presentations and communications in written and visual formats.
- Strong presentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Professional fluency in the English language.
- Must be comfortable and adaptable in a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide financial crime risk advisory input on prospective and existing clients.
- Assess complex client financial crime risk profiles and compliance controls.
- Conduct targeted due diligence on clients with elevated financial crime risk profiles.
- Draft high-quality due diligence and risk assessment memos for internal review.
- Maintain knowledge of regulatory expectations and emerging threats.
- Engage with business, Legal, Compliance, and other stakeholders to support risk-based outcomes.
- Execute transactional activity reviews against client expected activity.
- Update and maintain documentation for team processes and best practices.
