Job description
The Principal Security Operations Engineering Manager will lead the Incident Response function within the Azure Security Operations team at Microsoft. This role focuses on defending Microsoft's cloud environment against emerging threats and shaping the future of cybersecurity operations. The manager will investigate complex security events, lead cross-functional response efforts, and develop innovative solutions to enhance detection and resilience. This position offers a unique opportunity to combine technical expertise with strategic influence in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Doctorate in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field AND 3+ years experience in relevant areas, or equivalent experience.
- 1+ year(s) of people management experience.
- Candidates must meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
