Arcadis is seeking a Principal Water/Wastewater Conveyance Engineer to lead a team in San Antonio or Austin, TX. This role focuses on managing projects related to water and wastewater conveyance design and construction support services. The engineer will engage in client development and oversee a diverse portfolio of projects while ensuring technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background and a proven track record in delivering successful projects.

• 12 or more years of related industry experience in the water/wastewater field.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• PE License in Texas or ability to obtain TX PE within 6 months.

• Oversee project budgets and delivery schedules, leading project teams to ensure all deliverables are met.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the planning, design, and construction phases of water and wastewater systems.
• Prepare construction documents, develop specifications, and manage construction oversight and administration.
• Engage in client development activities and contribute to proposal and presentation efforts for projects.
• Collaborate with Area Leaders and client Account Leaders to define project scopes and fee estimates.
• Coordinate with technical advisors in water and wastewater hydraulic modeling and facility design.
• Mentor junior engineers and technical staff, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
