• Strong background in acoustic principles, vibration, and electromechanical systems.
• Experience with Finite Element Analysis software COMSOL for simulations and analysis.
• Working knowledge of lumped-parameter simulation methods and tools, such as MATLAB and Simulink.
• Experience with 3D solid modeling and meshing tools.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Audio/Acoustic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science or equivalent.
• MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Audio/Acoustic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science preferred.
• Experience with transducer design and testing, including understanding loudspeaker design methods.

• Drive all aspects of transducer design and development.
• Help manufacturing partners scale production and testing.
• Perform linear and non-linear computer simulations of electromagnetic, acoustics, and structural mechanics.
• Optimize each design aspect for custom transducers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver great audio.
• Work with manufacturing suppliers on design for manufacturability from early design phase to mass production.
