The role is for a software engineer within the AWS Applied AI Solutions organization, focusing on designing, building, and operating large-scale services used by millions of customers. The WorkSpaces Applications team is rapidly growing and aims to provide innovative SaaS application streaming and virtual desktop delivery solutions. Engineers will work with cutting-edge AWS technologies to solve complex problems related to scalability, security, and performance. • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience

• Design, implement, and deploy software features for Workspace Applications infrastructure and services
• Build scalable systems that manage resource provisioning, scaling, and lifecycle management
• Own operational excellence for your components, including monitoring, alarming, and on-call support
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, science, and product management
• Continuously improve code quality, system performance, and development processes
• Write clean, maintainable code that scales to handle large-scale workloads
