Job description
The role involves supporting laser scanning wafer inspection products within KLA's Global Products Group. The team focuses on developing next-generation products and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective engagement and technical expertise. The position requires collaboration with various functional groups to enhance product performance and customer support. Candidates will also mentor local application engineers and track critical projects.
Requirements
- Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years or Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years.
- Hands-on experience with Darkfield optical inspection systems.
- Familiarity with Python scripting and exposure to basic machine learning/deep learning concepts for AI-driven applications.
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Background in IC processing or semiconductor equipment is highly desirable.
- Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Support laser scanning wafer inspection products.
- Act as applications expert during the development and characterization of next-generation products.
- Engage with customers to showcase product performance at customer facilities or during in-house demonstrations.
- Prove technical superiority of KLA tools over competitor tools during evaluations.
- Collaborate with marketing, engineering, and service teams to ensure a smooth customer support experience.
- Act as technical lead to develop new use cases and mentor local application engineers.
- Track all critical projects in real time and provide timely updates to management.
