Arcadis is seeking a California Design and Engineering Delivery Lead to oversee transportation improvement projects in major California cities. The role involves managing project delivery life cycles, mentoring project managers, and ensuring client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will help grow the business by building relationships with clients and supporting recruitment efforts. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills to effectively lead a team and deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

• 20+ years of relevant engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• California Professional Engineering license, or the ability to obtain one within 6 months
• In-depth understanding of Caltrans project delivery processes
• Experience delivering projects in the transportation industry

• Oversee the delivery of transportation improvement projects including pursuit, scoping, pricing, and change management
• Recruit, mentor, and provide direction to Delivery Project Managers and key discipline leads
• Implement quality management activities within project execution
• Conduct monthly project reviews to monitor project progress and validate resourcing needs
• Engage in regular client check-ins to assess satisfaction with Arcadis' performance
• Participate in business development activities including client visits and proposal preparations
• Serve as project pursuit lead for key opportunities to enhance proposal development
• Prepare written reports, calculations, and other design documentation
