Job description
The role involves assembling and building KLA products using written documentation and schematics. The position is part of the KLA Services team, which focuses on maintaining the performance and productivity of products through various services. The team collaborates with field teams and customers across all business sectors. The primary focus is on developing methods and processes for manufacturing components and assemblies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related degree.
- Mechanical proficiency.
- Basic soldering skills.
- Proven ability to read schematics.
- Experience with calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or a Master's Degree in a related field.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain methods and processes for manufacturing parts and assemblies.
- Coordinate the release of new products and estimate manufacturing costs.
- Maintain records and reporting systems for manufacturing operations.
- Perform a variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks.
- Construct developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies, and components from schematics and instructions.
- Conduct rework and quality testing.
