Job description
The role is part of Apple's Product Launch Readiness team within the America's Operations Team, focusing on leading strategic and tactical initiatives for product launches. Candidates will utilize analytical models to evaluate complex data sets and drive business decisions while building relationships with internal and external partners. The position requires strong leadership capabilities and the ability to manage ambiguity effectively. Successful candidates will also identify process improvements and drive solutions from conception through implementation.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience leading execution in operations, supply chain, program, and/or project management.
- BA/BS degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a relevant field.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and collaboration abilities.
- Demonstrated ability in business process re-engineering with attention to detail.
- Proven experience working optimally in a matrixed and global organization.
- MBA or Advanced Degree preferred.
- Inventory Management or Merchandising experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage cross-organizational teams to roll out new products, systems, and solutions to market.
- Own new product/systems/tool launch plans and provide updates on critical checkpoints.
- Present and influence supply chain capability and technology roadmap to senior executive leadership.
- Develop and provide inputs to time dependency models for key milestones.
- Evaluate supply chain risks and implement contingency plans to mitigate consumer impact.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and drive solutions from conception through implementation.
- Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to gain perspective on scalability and risk.
- Drive innovation opportunities within the supply chain aimed at achieving sustainability goals.
