NVIDIA's Silicon Co-Design Group is looking for a versatile engineer to join the HW ArchDev team, which focuses on the entire product development cycle from architecture definition to product release. The team is involved in developing next-generation high-speed interconnects like NVLink and NVLink-C2C, aiming to enhance efficiency and stability. This role offers the chance to impact various product lines, including artificial intelligence and self-driving cars. Candidates will work closely with multiple engineering teams to drive design and debug efforts.

• BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
• Minimum 10 years of experience working on high-speed IOs with expertise in power management, use case analysis, performance/power modeling, bringup, and debugging
• Experience with system-level and interconnect power management optimizations
• Knowledge of firmware and driver structures and their interaction with hardware
• Strong fundamentals in electrical engineering, computer architecture, high-speed interfaces, timing analysis, process variations, statistical error rates, and power analysis

• Contribute to the design of next-generation high-speed IOs, including NVLink and NVLink-C2C
• Optimize IO power and enhance energy efficiency
• Ensure interoperability with connected devices and system components in complex interconnect topologies
• Investigate and resolve technically challenging high-speed IO bugs while collaborating with various teams
• Work proactively with system architects, mixed signal and design teams, software/firmware, hardware/software QA, operations, and application engineering teams to drive design, development, debugging, and product release
