As a Vulkan Performance driver engineer at NVIDIA, you will work on optimizing performance, power-efficiency, and latency for games and creative applications. You will collaborate with a talented team focused on enhancing the driver quality and performance. Your role will involve diagnosing performance bottlenecks and implementing improvements in the Vulkan and Proton environments. Requirements
- Hold a B.S. or higher degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a similar field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in graphics software, system programming, or a related field.
- An understanding of graphics fundamentals and experience with operating systems.
- Strong programming skills in C and C++, with familiarity in assembly code.
- Experience in developing highly optimized code.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose GPU and CPU performance bottlenecks in Vulkan and Proton titles.
- Identify changes to API usage to improve performance and communicate with third-party developers.
- Implement driver performance improvements and resolve driver defects.
- Collaborate with engineers on the team and across NVIDIA.
- Develop a driver that leads the industry in quality and performance.
