The Business Analytics Senior Analyst at Citigroup Global Markets Inc. will be responsible for gathering and analyzing operational data to enhance business decision-making capabilities. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to identify data patterns and trends, providing insights for strategic business opportunities, and improving processes. The analyst will also develop analytical capabilities using advanced statistical techniques and create visual presentations for senior leadership. This position is based in New York, NY, and may allow for a hybrid work schedule.

• Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field, and five years of experience in advanced data analysis.
• Five years of experience utilizing SQL, Tableau, Python, and Advanced Excel for data analysis.
• Experience in supporting business planning, process improvement, and solution assessment.
• Proficiency in interpreting raw data, performing data cleaning processes, and conducting pivot table analysis using Excel and/or Tableau.
• Ability to visualize data and create charts and dashboards using Tableau and Python.

• Gather operational data from cross-functional stakeholders to examine past business performance.
• Identify data patterns and trends to provide insights for business planning and process improvement.
• Perform exploratory and confirmatory data analysis and translate data into consumer insights.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to implement and improve decision strategies.
• Develop dashboards and perform advanced data analysis to share insights with senior leadership.
